United Church Women (UCW) -Service with a smile
Every first Wednesday of the month, an energetic and faith-filled group of women meet at Kemble-Sarawak United Church as members of the Kemble-Sarawak United Church Women. They work together, learn together, pray and play together. They also serve together, whether that service is providing dinners to the Kemble Lion's Club, or arranging to decorate the church for different seasons and events, or organizing the readers and ushers for worship. The Gift of Music
The Georgian Bluffs are full of musical talent - and our churches are no exception!
We are lucky to have many talented musicians in each of our churches, who bring years of experience and enthusiasm to their musical leadership. Each of our congregations sing with strength and joy from both Voices United and More Voices, the two newest hymn books in the United Church of Canada. At the piano at Zion-Keppel United Church is Violet Hill, who is a busy musician away from the church as well.
At Kemble-Sarawak United Church, the congregation and choir are ably led and accompanied by Mary Ellen Parsons. The choir sings each Sunday, practicing, prior to worship, at 9:15, when church is in session, and is always open to new members!
Prayer Shawl Ministry
This group is not meeting currently. We are however in need of prayer shawls! If you can make one, please contact us.
Sunday School!
Kemble-Sarawak has a vibrant Sunday School that runs during the school year. Join us for fun, music, snacks, drama, stories and more!
Bible Study
We love to study together! Join us at Kemble-Sarawak Church Monday mornings at 10:30 for our weekly Bible Study!
